Dixie Chick Emily Robison and her husband, singer Charlie Robison, have called it quits.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, they finalized their divorce on Wednesday. (Charlie filed for divorce in January.)

Their filing states that their marriage had "become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."

The couple, who wed in 1999, have three children.

Dixie Chicks singer Martie Maguire has welcomed a baby girl.

Harper Rosie - who weighed 7 lb., 10 oz. and was 20.5 inches long - was born Friday, Maguire announced on the band's Web site.

The girl is the third child for the singer, 38, and her husband, actor Gareth Maguire.

They welcomed twin girls, Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie, in 2004.

"Martie is doing very well and Gareth and the family are over the moon," said a statement on the band's Web site.

Maguire announced she was expecting in January.

I am a new HUGE fan of this artist named RISSI PALMER. She has a new amazing album out that features this single called “Country Girl” that’s already been on the Billboard charts. She also has a single out that I heard was produced by Taylor Swift’s producer called “No Air” which is a remake of the Jordin Sparks single. Rissi "countrifies" the song with nice fiddle, mandolin, and steel guitar and her vocals are awesome. I just found the single since its not on the album on iTunes. If you like Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Trish Yearwood, Colbie Caillat, Natasha Beddingfield, Mariah, India, Norah, Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow kinda of stuff – you will LOVE RISSI PALMER.

Dixie Chicks' New Song Will Debut on RED(Wire)

The Dixie Chicks will contribute a new song, "Lucky One," to a new digital music magazine, RED(Wire). For a $5 subscription, users will receive a new issue of the magazine every Wednesday with either an exclusive song from a major artist, a song from a new artist or a multimedia piece. Proceeds will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa. RED(Wire) launches on Monday (Dec. 1), which is World AIDS Day. However, no specific date has been revealed for the Dixie Chicks' song. Other artists who are teaming with the magazine include Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, U2, Coldplay, John Legend, R.E.M. and Bob Dylan. Collaborations include Elvis Costello and the Police, as well as the Killers, Elton John and the Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant.

The always-outspoken Dixie Chicks frontwoman Natalie Maines has taken up a new cause – that of three men who she says were wrongfully convicted of murder.

Maines, who has previously taken on President Bush, begins a post on the Dixie Chicks Web site, "I'm writing this letter today because I believe that three men have spent the past 13 years in prison for crimes they didn't commit."

The men in question, Damien Echols, Jesse Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin (known as the West Memphis 3), were teenagers when convicted in 1994. The first is on death row, while the other two received life sentences without parole for the May 1993 murders of 8 eight-year-olds Steve Branch, Christopher Byers, and Michael Moore in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Six months ago, a chance viewing of the HBO documentaries, Paradise Lost and Paradise Lost 2, inspired Maines to dig into the case herself. She believes that DNA and forensics evidence didn't support the convictions.

On her site, she's asking for donations to their new defense, as well as signatures on a petition to release the men, or at least, grant them a new trial.

At the same time, she points out the injustice to the victims and their families that their killer(s) are still loose, "and justice has yet to be served."

According to Fox News's Roger Friedman, Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Eddie Vedder, Jack Black and Henry Rollins are among the celebs who've already spoken out in support of the three men.

Monday in connection with an incident in June in which he threw a fan off a concert stage – and allegedly caused another fan in the crowd to suffer a concussion.

Akon, 34, entered his plea in a courtroom in Fishkill, N.Y., where the concert took place this summer, the Associated Press reports. He faces misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment.

Separately, the singer issued a statement on Monday saying he regrets the incident.

"It was never Akon's intent to violate the law," reads the message, issued by his attorneys, Benjamin Brafman and Andrea Zellan. "This unfortunate incident was a spontaneous reaction during a live concert that Akon deeply regrets. We are confident that this matter will ultimately be resolved in a manner that does not in any way interfere with Akon's successful career."

The episode was caught on tape and posted to the Internet.

The week after the concert, Akon agreed to cooperate with police but denied any wrongdoing.
