Donna Karan's (Cheap) Fall 2009 Ad Campaign
While designers are still sticking to what they know for Fall 09 ad campaigns (Madonna's second round for Louis Vuitton, Versace using Gisele and the same pose again) this is completely extreme: Donna Karan placed Toni Garrn's head on other models' bodies from her fall runway. Economic times are tight, but this is completely cheap, unappealing, and the campaign wouldn't even attract the type of clients the designer would want these days.

Designers Opt of Bryant Park Tents
While, for an aspiring designer, getting a coveted spot to have your show at the tents is a big deal, many designers are backing out of holding their shows their for the upcoming FW collections in February. The latest designer to opt of of a show at the tents is DKNY. Their show will be held at the Stephen Weiss Studio February 15th at 1 p.m.
