Talk show host Michael Savage - real name Michael Weiner - is on the banned list
Sixteen people banned from entering the UK were "named and shamed" by the Home Office today.
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said she decided to make public the names of 16 people banned since October so others could better understand what sort of behaviour Britain was not prepared to tolerate.
The list includes hate preachers, anti-gay protesters and a far- right US talk show host.

The Savages (With my love: Philip Seymour Hoffman)
Screenwriter:
Tamara Jenkins
In her consummately executed, irreverent drama The Savages, Tamara Jenkins achieves a rare storytelling feat: making us simultaneously laugh and cry. In what may evolve into a new genre, the coming-of-middle-age story, she has captured all the pain and misgivings that befall a pair of adult siblings, suddenly plucked from their very absorbed lives and forced to care for a parent who never much bothered to care for them, and transformed what could make viewers uncomfortable into a brilliantly humane examination of family dynamics.
That she has at her disposal two of the finest actors working today in Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney, an outstanding creative team behind the camera, and sage, capable producers contributes to the excellence of this production.

Robert Downey Jr. is in negotiations to star in ‘Cowboys and Aliens,’ a pulp like film about a traditional Wild West battle that gets interrupted by a spaceship from outer space, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The DreamWorks/Universal Pictures collaboration, to be produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, has been in development at several studios over the past ten years.
The story derives from a graphic novel written by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley.
