“The act of rape is barbaric. that it’s still going on is appalling,” Angie Harmon says in the newest issue of Us Weekly, on stands tomorrow. Eradicating it may be impossible, but the actress hopes to help those affected by devoting her time as a board member of the Rape Treatment Center at California’s Santa Monica–UCLA Medical Center, which provides emergency services for victims.
