LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - At a recent event for Republicans in Hollywood, an actress was asked whether she had ever worn her pro-Sarah Palin pin to an audition.
"You must be joking!" she said with a laugh, adding, "But I see Obama stuff all the time."

While Sienna Miller hangs in L.A. with still-married beau Balthazar Getty, her mother is defending the couple's relationship and calling for an end to the "feeding frenzy" surrounding the scandal.
"You can't understand how a woman seeing a man who has been separated from his wife [Rosetta Getty] for months can cause such a scandal," she told the U.K.'s Daily Express newspaper.

Orlando Bloom has landed the lead role in Disney’s new Prince Of Persia adventure trilogy, in a deal reportedly worth $40 million.
The 31-year-old star of Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise has allegedly beaten competition from Zac Efron to take the top role in the big-screen adaptation of the popular computer game Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.
The first movie in the trilogy, to be directed by Jerry Bruckheimer, is due to begin filming in July in Morocco.

Wannabe actor David K. Zandi has circulated an online poll, which he claims has attracted millions of votes, backing his attempt to land the lead part in the big-screen adaptation of the popular computer game.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Penelope Cruz will provide the voice of a brainy guinea pig in "G-Force," a combination live-action/computer-animated film from Disney.
The story revolves around a group of ultra-intelligent animal commandos who work for a government agency trying to prevent an evil billionaire from taking over the world.
Cruz joins a voice cast that includes Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi and Tracy Morgan.

Power Lists are so over. Magazines, including EW, have done them for decades, but as way of digging deep into Hollywood's DNA, "power" has become sort of beside the point. "Power" just tells you who's in charge.
