51 year-old former supermodel Jerry Hall isn’t above resorting to cheap tactics used by younger tarts to get attention. She ran into her ex common law husband, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, at a party earlier this month and pulled up her dress to show him that she wasn’t wearing underwear. For his part Mick, 64, was said to be initially shocked, but then laughed off the incident.

Lily Allen makes us all jealous of her- no, not because she's drunk most of the time someone gets a picture of her or because her hair always looks the same, but because Karl Lagerfeld loves her. I don't fully understand why-- actually I don't get it at all, but he loves her so much that he's named her the new face of Chanel handbags for the Fall 2009 campaign. Previously, the fabulous Jerry Hall was the face of Chanel's handbags, and the gig got her another contract with Ford Models.

It is a bright, Indian summer afternoon in the Litchfield Hills, and the downtown streets of this tourist mecca look invitingly peaceful.
But the communication lines connecting First Selectwoman Ruth Epstein to the outside world have been anything but peaceful for two weeks as the passions aroused by the 9/11 tragedy have turned Kent into a national lightning rod over terrorism, Islam and the role towns should play in memorializing the dead.
Epstein, a former journalist who is stepping down after two terms as first selectwoman, was approached more than a year ago by Peter Gadiel, the father of James Gadiel, a young Kent native who worked as a trader in the World Trade Center and perished in the 2001 terrorist attacks.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – Sarah Palin rallied thousands of abortion opponents Friday night with a a stark warning that the same philosophy that allows abortion rights could soon be invoked to allow the government to cut off health care for the elderly or children with special needs.
Speaking to a fund-raising banquet of Wisconsin Right to Life, the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee asserted that if policy-makers don’t believe a child in the womb is valuable, then “perhaps the same mind-set applies to other persons.”
“What may they feel about an elderly person who doesn’t have a whole lot of productive years left,” Palin asked an audience of about 5,000 who paid $30 each to hear her speak in an airplane hangar-like exhibition hall at the Wisconsin state fairgrounds just outside of Milwaukee.

At 17, Georgia May Jagger is the youngest daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall. But rock-star father and supermodel mother aside, things became atypical for this wee Jagger only recently, when she became the face of the newly revamped denim line Hudson Jeans. Now she’s a full-grown supermodel in the making.

Judy Garland was an American singer/entertainer who is considered by most to be the greatest female musical star of Hollywood's Golden Era. Perhaps best known and loved for the magic she brought to stage, screen, television, and recordings, her intense acting ability, singular communicative power, humor, and powerful singing voice were — and still are today — considered nearly unequaled.
The Beginning
Judy (christened Frances Ethel Gumm and nicknamed "Baby") was born on June 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
