Many of the benefits of pets — companionship, affection and so on — have been well known for centuries — even numerous ancient Egyptians cherished their companion animals. However, data gathered during only the last few years have shown just how significantly our health is improved if we share our lives with animals.
A study undertaken in 2002 by the Waltham Center for Pet Nutrition and United States Food and Drug Administration revealed that the heart rates and blood pressures of pet owners increased less when the individuals were presented with math problems to solve if their companion animals were present.

I've finally seen Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and I was not disappointed.
A young man named Mutt Williams (Shia Labeouf) seeks up Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), to tell him that Indy's old friend and colleague Harold Oxley (John Hurt) has disappeared after finding a crystal skull in Peru. Indy and Mutt travels to Peru in hopes of finding Oxley.

Despite an all-star cast and direction by long-time friend Steven Spielberg, George Lucas has some cautionary words for the upcoming return of Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, will be released on May 22nd, with Harrison Ford back as Dr Jones and Karen Allen returning as love interest Marion Ravenwood, while John Hurt will play her father Abner. Cate Blanchett is also on board as the villainous Agent Irina Spalko, Ray Winstone features as Dr Jones’ rival Mac and young star Shia LaBeouf takes on the role of tearaway Mutt Williams, who rumours suggest could be Dr Jones’ son.

Harrison Ford had better send his tux from the Oscars to the cleaners. The star of the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – the first Indy adventure in 19 years – is going to the Cannes Film Festival.
Despite initial rumors that the movie would open this year's annual rite of spring in the South of France – to run from May 14-25 – the movie, which also stars Shia LaBeouf and original Raiders of the Lost Ark costar Karen Allen, is due to be screened out-of-competition in Cannes, as a special festival centerpiece, on May 18, reports Variety.
