Miracle (2004)
Kurt Russell, Patricia Clarkson, Eddie Cahill, Noah Emmerich
This is my favorite sports movie of all time because I think it was the greatest sports moment of all time.
1980 was the height of the Cold War between the US and the USSR. The US had just boycotted the 1980 Summer Olympics, refusing to compete with Communists (the Russians would boycott the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles).

25. TOSHIRO MIFUNE, SEVEN SAMURAI (1954)
Few actors can summon the sheer rock-solid presence that Mifune can. And he was never better than when he sliced and diced as a samurai for director Akira Kurosawa

I found this on msn.com, very interesting tribute to Hollywood's greatest real-life romances. It's pretty lengthy, though. I hope you all enjoy!

Laurence Fishburne is reportedly being sought to replace William Petersen as the star of CBS’ hit crime drama “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” Petersen will only be doing the first 10 episodes of this coming season’s CSI as a full-time series regular. The eight-year CSI vet will continue his ongoing role as an executive producer and intends to return on occasion as a (very special) guest star. Petersen’s sorta swan song, is coupled with Jorja Fox and Gary Dourdan’s exits last season.

Rated R
Written and Directed by Quentin Tarantino
Starring Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan, Sydney Poitier, Vanessa Perlito, Jordan Ladd, Tracie Thoms, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Zoë Bell
Just a little background...
Death Proof is Quentin Tarantino's half of the double feature Grindhouse (Robert Rodriguez's half, Terror Planet is still in our Netflix queue). Grindhouse was conceived by the two directors as a 70's era double feature, like the exploitation films they showed in grindhouse theaters back in the day - slasher films, zombie films, blaxploitation films, women's prison films, car chase movies, motorcycle movies, etc.

Goldie Hawn says that daughter Kate Hudson is in good spirits despite her recent split from Owen Wilson.
"She's doing really well," Hawn told PEOPLE at the Partouche Charity Poker Festival in Cannes, where $1 million is up for grabs for a charity of choice. (Celebrity players include Hawn, Woody Harrelson, Dennis Hopper, Salma Hayak, Edward Norton and Tim Robbins.)
Hawn, who is in town for several days before departing on a Tuscan biking trip with partner Kurt Russell, said she hoped to win – as long as she kept her sunglasses on during the nighttime tournament
"My eyes are the window in to my soul and I can't lie.
