Minnelli collapsed during a Christmas show Wednesday night and fell off the side of the stage but was caught by a technician and escaped additional injuries, said Michael Silfverskiold, a local promoter.
"It was a terrible situation," he said.

The Sex and the City sequel just got a little more fabulous. Along with the original fab four – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Stewart and Cynthia Nixon – Penélope Cruz and Liza Minnelli are both appearing along with Jason Lewis, who is reprising his role as Samantha's younger ex. Despite previous reports, Cruz doesn't play herself in the film.

Judy Garland was an American singer/entertainer who is considered by most to be the greatest female musical star of Hollywood's Golden Era. Perhaps best known and loved for the magic she brought to stage, screen, television, and recordings, her intense acting ability, singular communicative power, humor, and powerful singing voice were — and still are today — considered nearly unequaled.
The Beginning
Judy (christened Frances Ethel Gumm and nicknamed "Baby") was born on June 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

NEW YORK – Natasha Richardson starred on Broadway in a quintet of strikingly different productions — each one demonstrating why the actress was a true daughter of the theater, a worthy member of an illustrious acting dynasty.
Richardson, who died Wednesday in a Manhattan hospital following a skiing accident in Canada, was loyal to the stage throughout her career (even while having a film career that included "Gothic," "Patty Hearst," "Nell" and "The Parent Trap").
Her most prominent New York appearance came a decade ago in the Roundabout Theatre Company's long-running revival of "Cabaret," for which she won a 1998 best-actress Tony.

I'm taking today off from bringing you all recipes and have decided instead to write about the woman that I have decided to claim as my favorite actress all time.
Truthfully, it's not hard to see why I've fallen in love with the woman. When she first started making her way into show business (as Frances Gumm with the Gumm Sisters), she was known as the "little girl with the big voice."

A Gatecrasher pal reports this recent sighting of her at the E. 66th and Third Ave.
