Hi everyone,
praisesbe asked me about a matte non shimmery grass green polish. Well, I don't own one, but I did try to create one that isn't a dead-matte but a lively matte.
This is what I created with Rimmel London's Lycra Pro Professional Finish nailpolish in 430 Jaded Glamour and the NailTek Ridge filling basecoat (which makes it matte). The Jaded Glamour is a green with a gold shimmer, but the matte "topcoat" makes this shimmer disappear, but keeps it lively and not a flat green.

Pete Doherty was supposed to play a concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall before got unavoidably detained, when he was thrown in prison. I hate when that happens! Doherty has now rescheduled the show and as a bonus, persuaded Amy Winehouse to join him on stage for a duet.

LONDON (AFP) - To their high society owners, a pair of haute couture shoes can be a precious thing.
But to guard a 62,000 pound (120,000 dollar) pair of ruby- sapphire- and diamond-encrusted Rene Caovilla sandals at their London launch, retailer Harrods went to extreme lengths: bringing in a live Egyptian cobra to patrol the shoe counter.
Whether hiring a poisonous snake is, strictly speaking, the most effective means of guarding precious footwear might be a moot point with security experts.

Robert Pattinson: “There’s never been any pressure from anywhere I don’t think. Other than right from the very beginning, before the first film came out.

After being squeezed in in the few days between fashion weeks in New York and Milan, the British Fashion Council has prepared London Fashion Week for a comeback. Already, designers like Burberry, Jonothan Saunders, Matthew Williamson have switched their shows back for the event's 25th anniversary, and Kelly Cutrone has been hired to bring reality TV cameras (and hopefully editors and buyers). Kelly's fashion PR company, People's Revolution (which is completely US based right now) has been hired to do PR for London Fashion Week stateside, which includes promoting the event and British designers across the pond.
