Connecticut Governor Signs Gay Marriage Bill

Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell signed into law yesterday a gay marriage bill passed by the General Assembly, the Boston Globe reports.
The bill comes six months after the Connecticut Supreme Court declared gay and lesbian couples have the right to marry.

Kelly Rowan, who played resident party planner and family matriarch Kirsten "Kiki" Cohen on The O.C., is a new mom, her rep tells PEOPLE.
"Kelly Rowan gave birth to a happy and healthy baby girl in Los Angeles on April 28," says the spokesperson. "Mom and daughter are doing great."

Tom Cruise takes wife Katie Holmes to see the Broadway show Country Girl after dining with Jessica Seinfeld, the wife of comedian Jerry, in New York City on Saturday.
The play, which premiered on Broadway in 1950, is about a down-on-his luck alcoholic actor (Morgan Freeman) and his unhappy wife (Frances McDormand), whose fortunes look to change when he is offered a role by a hot-shot director (Peter Gallagher).
