On Aug. 31, staffers learned the full story: None of them would be making the beds and cleaning the showers any longer.

All this week, the confines of an unprepossessing building in North Hollywood have echoed to the sounds of what on first hearing might be taken for the muffled strains of some frightening act of domestic violence. In fact, this nondescript studio in a quiet suburban neighbourhood has been playing host to Paris Hilton as she prepares her latest assault on an unsuspecting public.
If the evidence of an impromptu performance at a karaoke night in a Los Angeles club on Tuesday night is anything to go by, however, the ambitious Miss Hilton might be well advised to book some more lessons.

Nicky Hilton debuted her latest fashion line Tuesday night – but chatter about her weight and her sister's love life took center stage.
Hilton, who has been dogged by Internet speculation about recent weight loss, hit back at the reports. "There's no truth to any starvation, eating disorders, rumors," she told PEOPLE Tuesday at her Nicholai fashion show, part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in L.A.

Pamela Anderson and Criss Angel appear to have resumed their romance. A flirtation between the busty blonde and the magician, which occurred at LAX nightclub late last year, enraged ex-husband Rick Salomon and supposedly prompted Anderson to file for divorce after just a few months of unholy matrimony. There was also an alleged Anderson abortion during the marriage as well, so take your pick on the cause of the Salomon, Anderson split.

Paris Hilton and her Swedish pizza delivery boy, Alex Vaggo, were trying in vain to be scenesters in matching track suits, but failed to get the attention of the paparazzi they are likely to have tipped off. They wandered around a restaurant for 20 minutes without ordering and waited for someone to pay attention to them. 59 year old Ivana trump married her fourth husband, Italian actor/model Rossano Rubicondi, 35, in an over-the-top ceremony at her second husband Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach on Saturday. They held their reception in the same ballroom where Trump married his third wife Melania in 2005.
Among the 500 guests were Kathy and Rick Hilton, Robin Leach, George Hamilton, and Brigitte Nielsen.
