I saw this film in theaters a few weeks ago and I was the youngest person in the audience by about 20 years.
When a young boy, Michael Berg (David Kross), gets sick on his way home from school, a woman, Hannah Schmitz (Kate Winslet), helps him get home. When he goes back to thank her, they discover a tension there that manifests into an illicit affair.

This year has been such a great year for films that it's hard to disappointed with the nominations! It's an eclectic mix, which I love to see because I have an eclectic taste. I'm looking forward to getting things started, so without further ado, here is the official "list."

Buzz posted the Oscar noms, which were announced this morning, but I figured I'd repost them here, for sake of conversation.
I am SO happy about some of these nods, especially:
Javier Bardem for supporting actor - TOTALLY deserves it and will probably win
Ellen Page for lead actress - she probably won't win but yay for her anyway
Juno for best picture - again, it's the underdog and probably won't win, but what an achievement
"Falling Slowly" from Once for best song - I really, really hope this wins over the songs from Enchantment.
Diablo Cody for the Juno screenplay - I think she's going to win for best original.

The actor on fame, life with six kids and how playing an old man made him grow up
Brad pitt is having technical difficulties.
"I normally need my kids to do this," he mutters, as he attempts to connect my iPod into his stereo. "They're so beyond me in technology, it's hard to keep up.

What can you say about Brad Pitt that hasn't already been said. The hottest actor in Hollywood? The sexiest celeb in the world?

I saw this movie in theaters as soon as it came out. I was dying to see it; I’d read the book early in the year and thought the story was just perfect for the Coen Brothers.
For those who have yet to see it, the story follows Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin), a poor sap who is in the wrong place at the wrong time when he finds a bunch of dead people in the middle of the desert and a bag filled with money.

a stunned Brad Pitt picked up his best actor trophy that he was awarded for last year's The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
"I guess you forgot something here years ago," said the mistress of ceremonies Wednesday at the Venice International Film Festival. Holding up the gold cup to honor Pitt's performance in the film, she said, "Brad, this is yours."

Becoming a father of four in two-and-a-half years feels just right to Mr. Angelina Jolie: a hungry American who eats Italian food in the Czech Republic while he plots to save the world.
One recent morning on the Charles Bridge, which spans the Vltava river in Prague, a middle-aged portrait artist with a gray ponytail was sketching the tourists who come here to experience a European destination that’s billed as the City of a Hundred Spires.
