The UCLA Medical Centre has been under scrutiny because of confidential details of celebrity treatment being leaked to the media, most notably the medical details of Britney Spears’ breakdown (her psychiatric records were supposedly closed to generally employee access) and Farrah Fawcett’s cancer treatment. Now it seems that at least one employee, Lawanda Jackson, is going to face criminal charges about the incident.
The indictment refers to an unidentified national media outlet, but a source familiar with the matter confirmed that the paper was the National Enquirer.

The Informers is a movie based on the 1995 Bret Easton Ellis novel, set in LA in 1983, where movie execs, rock stars, and a vampire intermix with each other. Sounds like just another day in Hollywood, right?
What's interesting about this film is that it will be the last we'll see of Brad Renfro, who passed away from an accidental heroin overdose in January.

With the change of the seasons, it is a good idea to be aware of where we are at, and to take good care of ourselves. Here are some ideas about how to recognize and cope with the blues, SAD, or depression. It's a lot of information, so later in the season, I might break it down into one a day :) ......to keep the winter depression at bay!!!

Sex is everything. To go beyond sugarcoating the issue, wether it be in relationships, advertisement, media, and the like, sex is everything and everywhere. Wether it be part of an innuendo, a sub-context, flat out blatant in your face, or anything between, it's undeniable that sex is an integral part in not only our culture, but our everyday life.

I have not been feeling well, which is obligatory of what I am going through, and I know there are people who are happy about this. So, I have turned from Sugar to reading a LOT! But, when I do have something of interest for you I will post it for you as I care deeply about so many of you. I am not looking for sympathy or empathy of any nature. Far from it. Taking a break from Sugar has been situational. Therefore READING has been a serenity of sorts. Absorbing information which I wish I would have attained months ago.
A book advised for reading:
"The Moral Sense" by James Q. Wilson
Mark Twain once advised, "Always do right. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest." (you know how I love my quotes). The thought of astonishing people is certainly appealing, yet somehow we have to know what's right before we can do it. How do we know what's right? It's not easy, despite the fact that there's a vast field of study devoted to the topic which is described using terms like "Ethics," or "Moral Philosophy." However, countless philosophers writing shelves full of books over have hardly improved on the age-old cliche', "treat others as you want to be treated." Albert Schweitzer rephrased it this way: "A man is truly ethical only when he obeys the compulsion to help all life which he is able to assist, and shrinks from injuring anything that lives."
But why should we even be interested in opening the question? Why not just leave the discussion of ethics to theologians?
Despite the fact that religion and ethics are sometimes assumed to be interchangeable ideas, a standard of morality is important whether one believes in a higher power or not. It makes society work and establishes the basis by which human beings can relate to each other and to their environment safely and responsibly. If our ethical lines shift according to whim, others won't be able to anticipate our responses or predict our stance on any issue. We all have a strong desire to know where we "stand" in relation to others. Do they care about us? Do we care about them? How do we know whether our relationships can be relied upon?

Video: Small Business Insurance
Going by the information obtained during a recent survey conducted the British Insurance Brokers Association, (or BIBA), small business owners could be taking great risks with their businesses. When questioned during the survey, many of the SMEs admitted that they had failed to get proper advice regarding commercial insurance cover.
The subject of commercial insurance cover is a complicated one and many businesses don’t seem to recognise the difference between merely receiving information and receiving advice.

Choosing a signature scent is difficult, especially when it's for mom! When the Holidays arrive, shopping can be nerve racking and totally last minute. Relax!

Background information: Dated a jerk for 3 years, of course didn'tknow it, the last 3 months of the relationship was long distance which allowed me to see that I was being played for a fool, so I broke up with him because he wasn't treating me the way I should be treated. Skip forward maybe 2 months, I find out he had actually been cheating on me for 6-9 months of the last year.
So now, its been almost a year post break up. I have cutoffall types of communication and including moving out of the country. But moments of the relatinoship keep popping up in dreams, any time I have down time, am alone, that I rethink how events went and I just get so mad at myself. I can see so many moments that I should have broken up with him much earlier but didn't because I was this fool. I guess I hate feeling like this fool that got really taken advantage of.
Even now, I"ll be dreaming/fantasizing about guys that I have met and this "fantasy" turns right back to the ex and ruins it. How can this jerk of a boy still have this kind of effect on me. I havne't been on any real dates, have tried to get back into the datingworld, but its like I am not getting any hits at all. I also feel that I need (need being the operative word) to have a new boyfriend to really get my mind past the jerk because I definately deserve something awesome. But with that, I feel like the guys I meet definately see what I have on my mind - even when I do not speak of it to anybody - and pass.
I really just want to move on, start new, and have someone wonderful in mylife because I know I deserve it but it feelslike fate has said no to me. I am a believer in Karma, but I feel these days that karma has failed me, and my ex is still with the girl he was with before and it's like how does he deserve to be in a 'successful' relationship and I deserve to suffer. I know no one can answer this but when will my day come?
