Johnny Depp is Tim Burton’s Mad Hatter
The cast for the next Tim Burton movie, a 3-D live-action/CGI animated version of Alice In Wonderland, was announced today and in keeping with the perfect movie partnership they discovered 18 years ago, Johnny Depp will be playing the Mad Hatter.
If any story for a movie is appropriate to be filmed in 3-D, it would be Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. The live-action/CGI is the method used in the recent Angelina Jolie movie Beowulf and it’s a good combination of animation and live acting for the fantasy and allegory of the classic “children’s” book.

#11/39 - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
I couldn’t wait to see this film in theaters- I wanted to see it the second it came out but was so busy that I didn’t get to it until a few days after Christmas. My love and anticipation for this film is a little odd- I’m a big Johnny Depp fan, and a HUGE Tim Burton fan, but really it was the Sweeney Todd part that drew me in.
Before I saw this film, everything I knew about Sweeney Todd I learned from Jersey Girl.

I don't exactly remember when was the first time I saw Tim Burton's beautiful "The Nightmare Before Christmas," but it has become one of my favorite movies to watch not just during holiday season but anytime. Something about this film reminds of my younger days, and I think that's why it has become of my favorites; it leaves a feeling of nostalgia.
My little cousins have not see this film so I'm planning to have them watch it during Christmas.
Mia Wasikowska is Alice in Wonderland

Australian actress Mia Wasikowska is slated to star in the new adaption of Lewis Carroll’s classic fantasy novel Alice in Wonderland.
In the director’s chair is Tim Burton (Bettle Juice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd). According to THR, Alice and Wonderland will be shot with live-action and performance-capture footage and presented in Disney Digital 3-D.
