Buzz posted the Oscar noms, which were announced this morning, but I figured I'd repost them here, for sake of conversation.
I am SO happy about some of these nods, especially:
Javier Bardem for supporting actor - TOTALLY deserves it and will probably win
Ellen Page for lead actress - she probably won't win but yay for her anyway
Juno for best picture - again, it's the underdog and probably won't win, but what an achievement
"Falling Slowly" from Once for best song - I really, really hope this wins over the songs from Enchantment.
Diablo Cody for the Juno screenplay - I think she's going to win for best original.

File this one under “DUH!” Forbes Magazine has just released its list of the 10 most overexposed celebrities, and not surprisingly, Paris Hilton sits atop that list. Once the tabloid “it” girl, Paris is now regarded as little more than filler when it’s a slow gossip day. She can be counted on for doing or saying something stupid, but other than that, nobody really cares about her anymore.

"Anderson & Sheppard has been a leading Savile Row firm from its beginnings in 1906. The fluid style of the legendary cutter Frederick Scholte (the Duke of Windsor’s Cutter) was from the start the distinguishing feature of the house style -- a high small armhole with a generous upper sleeve permitting the jacket to remain close to the neck while freeing the arm to move with comfort.
Former devotees have included Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, and Noel Coward.

She's butted heads with heads of state, endured the tug o'war between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump, even been mercilessly parodied on SNL – but there's one thing Barbara Walters admits intimidates her: her MySpace page.
"I am now on MySpace," the broadcast veteran, 78, told her View co-producer Bill Geddie on Barbara Live, her weekly Sirius radio show.
"What would bother me is if nobody got in touch with me," she admited.
