Tom Petty was picked to perform at Next year's Super Bowl Half TIme. Even though it's early December and the super bowl will not be around until another month, hearing who's the half time performer makes me look forward a hella lot less now. And for someone who has no clue what the heck is going on during a football game, Half Time is my favorite part of the entire superbowl.

The reason why, oh I can't say
I have to let you go babe, and right away
After what you did I can't stay on
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone
Baby for a long time you had me believe
That your love was all mine
And that's the way it would be
But I didn't know that you were puttin' me on
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone
Now I gotta say that it's not like before
And I'm not gonna play your games anymore
After what you did I can't stay on
And I'll probably feel a whole let better
When you're gone

DENIED: Bigotry of the Obamatrons by Charles Winecoff
Recently, at the office (a place I sometimes affectionately refer to as Obama Central), I made the mistake of printing out a Washington Post editorial that questioned the foreign policy expertise of our new Commander-in-Chief. By the time I got to the printer to pick it up, someone else had already seen it - and stamped “DENIED” across the top of the page in red ink. Next to that was scrawled, “RIGHT WINGER GO HOME.”
The first thing that went through my mind was: cross burnings.

Rutgers University officials are not getting A's in spending taxpayer money.
State auditors have found more examples of poor financial oversight when it comes to the state university's travel expenses, vacation days and a trip to a bowl game.
Auditors say more than 530 employees have stockpiled over $3 million in vacation time in violation of university policy.
