#20 and 21 - The Queen and The Last King of Scotland
I got a bit thwarted in my plans to see some movies last night which I may now have to miss altogether. However, tonight I had a Royal-themed double billing! First up was The Queen, which was fantastic.Another movie recommendation - "Sideways"
"Sideways" (2004), written and Directed by Alexander Payne, based on the novel by Rex Pickett, is one of my favorite movies ever.
"Sideways" is the story of Miles (Paul Giamatti), a middle-aged depressed, lonely, borderline alcoholic who teaches junior high school English. He has finally finished his first lengthy novel but is having trouble finding a publisher, and he still pines after his ex-wife Victoria, who divorced him two years ago.
