I know it's the Discovery Channel and I'm not usually a nature nut. That being said, this show is pure entertainment! Plus, you can pick up some key survival techniques *just in case you find yourself left to your own devices in the middle of nowhere!

DENIED: Bigotry of the Obamatrons by Charles Winecoff
Recently, at the office (a place I sometimes affectionately refer to as Obama Central), I made the mistake of printing out a Washington Post editorial that questioned the foreign policy expertise of our new Commander-in-Chief. By the time I got to the printer to pick it up, someone else had already seen it - and stamped “DENIED” across the top of the page in red ink. Next to that was scrawled, “RIGHT WINGER GO HOME.”
The first thing that went through my mind was: cross burnings.

The problem is they aren't just goofin'
By Glenn Garvin
You know what they say about monkeys, typewriters and Shakespeare. My question is, if you sat an infinite number of Joe Bidens at an infinite number of microphones, would any of them ever say anything that wasn't infinitely stupid? From his reminiscences about Franklin Roosevelt's famous White House television address on the day of the 1929 stock market crash (that is, three years before Roosevelt was president and 20 years before Americans bought TVs) to his campaign-rally exhortation to Missouri state Sen.

Buzz posted a few links to this stuff but I figured I'd highlight it here.
First of all, here is a Strike Chart to tell us how many episodes of our favorite shows are left to air:
30 Rock: Ten episodes will be produced. Five episodes have aired, so there are five left.

Ive been seeing a friend of mine as "more than a friend" for a few weeks. We were never "best-friends" before so theres none of the weird crossover awkwardness. I have met his brother and uncle, he TiVo's my favorite shows when I'm working(I work retail so the hours are crazy right now) so we can watch them together later(and keep in mind they are things he would never want to watch alone, Jon and Kate, Gossip Girl, Greys, Brothers and Sisters, etc.).

Now is probably the time for me to admit I have terrible TV taste. Think of the worst show ever, and I've probably watched it...and fallen in love with the horror of it all. While I'm a TiVo freak - mostly so I don't have to bother anyone else with my terrible taste - I know there are many of you who rely on good old fashioned "what's on tonight?"

Halloween 2007
I tried not to do this, but my TIVO died this weekend, so here goes. I watched the theatrical release of the Halloween remake. I had previously watched the original theatrical release which was awful, so I avoided watching the dvd of the theatrical version, once was enough you know.

I’m torn; apparently, this show’s producers heard my groans, because last night because it upped it’s game a tad. Last night’s episode, was entitled, ‘Family Man.’ And I got to say, not bad, guys. Not a total masterpiece, but not bad.
