Things got off to a very good start today with Paramount Pictures as the first panel to kick off Comic-Con in San Diego Convention Center's monstrous Hall H. They brought with them a slew of goodies, including some casting announcements and footage.

When Star Trek Meets Cloverfield
J.J. Abrams brought out the entire cast for his upcoming Star Trek film for the premiere of Cloverfield held at the Paramount Studios Lot on Wednesday in Los Angeles. (Abrams produced Cloverfield and directed Star Trek.)
Among the young Enterprise crewmembers there: Chris Pine (Kirk), Zoe Saldana (Uhura), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Karl Urban (McCoy), John Cho (Sulu) and Anton Yelchin (Chekov).
Shatner's Kirk Not Aboard for New 'Trek'
The original Capt. Kirk is disheartened he won't get to boldly go anywhere with his old pal Spock in the new "Star Trek" movie. While Leonard Nimoy is reprising his role as the pointy-eared Vulcan in next year's science-fiction flick, William Shatner is not on board as Kirk.Heroes.. Claire's Father...MY opinion
BoredAtWork made a poll on who she thought was Claire Bennet's Dad on Heroes. I thought it was either Nathan Petrelli or Mr. Bennet.. Her adoptive dad...I really think its Nathan Petrelli now..
