The proposed Affirmative Action bill isn't just limited to race and gender, but social standing as well. According to the story, "Class divisions are entrenched in Britain, with many of the highly paid, prestigious jobs still going to an aristocracy of Cambridge or Oxford graduates."

Redlasso is a popular service that provides access to US television about an hour or two after it’s aired and allows invited bloggers to “clip” segments of no more than 10 minutes each. The clips are then available to be shared on websites in an embeddable format similar to YouTube. The aim of Redlasso is to help bloggers comment on noteworthy events, and they maintain that short clips of television content fall under the “fair use” doctrine, which is protected under the first amendment.

Brad Pitt is threatening legal action against any publication which prints photos of his family at home in France.
The move comes after paparazzi photos of the movie star and his family relaxing at their summer retreat hit the internet earlier this week, and Pitt learned the bosses of the agency behind the shots were offering the images to tabloids.
Pitt’s lawyer, Yael Holtkamp, has served the agency with a cease and desist order, and claims the photos were “surreptitiously” taken by photographers with “highly powerful telephoto lenses”.
