Actress Katie Holmes who achieved fame for her previous role as Joey Potter was seen wearing only a dressing gown on the sets for her movie. She looked very chilly shooting in that outfit to keep her warm. Even her costar Anna was with her.

I caught this flick by myself in January because I figured it’d be up for something once the nominations were announced, but I wasn't entirely interested in seeing it.
The film follows Charlie Wilson (Tom Hanks), a womanizing, fun loving, Texas congressman who teams up with high society conservative Joanne Herring (Julia Roberts) and CIA Agent Gust Avrakotos (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) to supply weapons to Afghanistan and defeat the Soviets, thus ending the Cold War. However, he soon learns that with one defeat, he must be prepared to face ten more obstacles.

First of all, Kristen Stewart showed up to the event sporting some short hair in an all-black ensemble. The actress was adamant in continuing to deny any rumors of a real-life romance with Robert Pattinson.Stewart seemed upbeat when she addressed the audience and announced, "The whole rumor, tabloid stuff, it's so obviously false." She added, "I don't take it personally, because I have gotten so much experience with this, it's gotten easier."However, she admits that she can "understand that people have a hard time seeing us outside of our characters."

In September of 2008, I was still resistant to the Twilight phenomenon. It was idiotic, I know, but the movie hadn't come out yet and the books seemed a little too young for me (again...no need to say it, I KNOW). Considering what percentage of my day and job — PopSugar.com — is taken up by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and all the rest of the cast now, it feels so silly.

Adam Brody stated in an interview for the "In the Land of Women" that he felt that the title did not represent the movie correctly. The title is "In the Land of Women" He was right, 100 percent. This movie was not about women, did not revolve around women, etc. It was a movie about growing, life, experiences, etc. "In the Land of Women" was released just two years ago, in 2007. I remember watching television and the "mini-trailer" came on for the movie. I remember wanting to go see it. Finally, I did: just the other day. Better late than never.

The other day I saw Jennifer's Body. It's about Needy (Amanda Seyfried) and Jennifer (Megan Fox). Needy is kind of a nerd and Jennifer is really popular.
