Lanvin's Version of a Barbie
A peek at a collection of porcelain dolls made in collaboration with Alber Elbaz and Lanvin. They say: “While Elbaz has revitalized the fashion house, he, like Lanvin, still appreciates tradition. Part of that tradition includes a strong affection for dolls.” While I'm pretty sure that Lanvin's history with these type of dolls is little-known, but the dresses are easily recognizable, but it's easy to tell something big was lost in translation.

This is Lanvin, though, it's a different, darker and more glamorous playing feild we're facing here. Lanvin Spring 2008 - Designer Review
This is by far the best Lanvin show that Alber Elbaz has produced! :love: From the vibrant colors to the ostrich feathers... it was all candy to the eye.
