Hey KGs!
I wanted to share my Thanksgiving menu and see if you had any ideas and/or advice. This is the first year we are going to deep-fry our bird.

My boyfriend and I are throwing a Halloween Bash at our small yet suprisingly accomodating apartment. I've started planning the decor and the menu. I'm really excited, I love entertaining.

I can handle dinner parties and I can handle casual hanging out parties, but I'm having a sort of nicer-casual all girl party that I need to come up with ideas for food.
It'll be all appetizers but I don't want it to be all dessert, which is the only thing I can make. SO i need some suggestions of real-food type of appetizers that are small or even toothpick-bite size that are still quick, easy and super yummy!

Pizza Sticks
You can make these in long sticks, or slice them up for quick appetizers.
Unroll a can of crescent rolls and separate. Put 2 triangles together to make a rectangle and seal the seam.

This weekend my friend April was having an appetizer potluck birthday party in the park. I wasn't sure what I was going to make, so I got up early and went to the farmer's market to see if I could find something that inspired me. I ended up getting sidetracked on my way to the market and ended up not having too much time.

When my boyfriend and I first moved into together, we had a house warming party that was all skewers (super fun and really easy clean-up, just make sure you have garbage cans handy). The biggest hit of the party was the Caprese Skewers, a simple and colorful appetizer.
Ingredients
Cherry Tomato
Fresh Mozzarella balls (roughly the same size as the Cherry Tomatoes)
Olive Oil (I love Sciabica Basil olive oil - they are the oldest olive oil producer in California)
Fresh Basil
Balsamic Vinegar (optional)
salt and pepper
