Has anyone had any experience with getting through security with a cooler full of baby food cubes? I am wondering how they treat ice packs. The ice packs I use are technically gels.Homemade Baby Food
Does anyone here make their own baby food? I'm a single mom of a 4 month old and he's started eating a little bit of Stage 1 fruits & veggies (after getting the Doc's advice, of course). I'm thinking that the already made stuff that you buy in the store obviously has preservatives and stuff like that in it and I would much rather try to make his food at home so I know for a fact of what is in it.Making Baby Food - Suggestions?

Tandoori turkey in the oven
For a few years now I've wanted to try to marry the traditional Southern Indian food my husband grew up enjoying with Thanksgiving as I know it (Southern girl with a love of spice and heat).
So this year I did a trial run of a tandoori-style turkey made in the oven. By next year I hope to build my own tandoor, or at least grill this guy, because it needs a little more heat to crisp up properly.

Couples may enjoy white tablecloths and candlelight before baby, but after becoming parents hearing that there's an hour-long wait at a hot eatery isn't as enticing. Getting food to go allows mom and dad the chance to eat their favorite entrees without any of the worry of entertaining their tots during the experience or public mid meal meltdowns.
