People must really be into these tiny animal models I have been making lately, because EVERYONE is requesting them on their cakes. They're a lot of fun to do though, so I don't mind too much.
Here is a cake I made for a baby shower.

I'm not really a cake person and haven't dabbled much into decorating. But I brilliantly volunteered to make this cake for my nieces baby shower this weekend. Just wondering if anyone has any tips about it!

Martha Stewarts crew love them, we love them too..
The newest craze to hit kids birthday parties are the hand made milla flowers They sit perfectly on your beautifully made cupcakes. Each flower petal has been carefully and meticulously hand folded, 6 making up a complete flower. The team at Something Nice For Kids, tells us that they arrive in a pack of 12 and they are big enough to suit medium to large cupcake sizes.

Here is a cake I made over the weekend for a baby shower. It is a butter cake with buttercream icing topped with MMF. I can never seem a ball shaped cake perfectly round, but I think it still turned out good.

Alright, I JUST figured out how to get pictures off of my camera that have been on there for waaayyyy too long, so I apologize for so many posts! This cake was for a baby shower last month. The colors on the cake matched the colors the baby's room were going to be, for a little girl.

This one is for my sister's boss at work, the colors of the baby's room are going to be pink and brown and it has some kind of cowboy theme, but this cake was so last minute, I didn't think that I could incorporate the cowboy theme into the cake, so I just thought that a pink cake with pink and brown polka dots would be cute. My sister thought that adding the baby's monogram on the top of the cake would add a nice touch, so that's what I did. It's not my favorite cake, I didn't put as much love into this one as I have into some in the past, but I guess I'm just saving all of my creative energy for the big one coming up in a couple of months!

Some people at Suzanne's work had a goodbye party for her. One of the supervisors called the local Wal-Mart and ordered the cake. He told them to write: “best wishes Suzanne” and underneath that write “we will miss you”.

What's in a name? In the case of Ashlee Simpon's baby – Bronx Mowgli – it's just the latest demonstration of her Disney devotion.
While Simpson and husband Pete Wentz – who welcomed their son Thursday night – haven't yet discussed the inspiration behind the baby's unique moniker, "Mowgli" is, of course, the lead character in Disney's animated classic, The Jungle Book.
