Battlestar Galactica prequel 'Caprica' to be made? - Update

Friends & Fellow Fans - New episodes of Battlestar Galactica are RIGHT around the corner! I've been so busy at work lately, that I have to admit I didn't even realize it was this close. I have to admit that I have occasionally looked for spoilers for Lost, Alias (long time ago), Heroes, and Battlestar Galactica. A lot of times these "spoilers" aren't more than just plotline hints or news about new actors/characters who will be joining the cast, but occasionally there is a major twist revealed. Which at the time seems pretty exciting, but then I realize that it would have been better had I just waited for the show to air.Looking for something to brighten your day?
I chuckled to myself as I read this article from Dvice, '9 Awesome Gadgets from Battlestar Galactica'. When I saw the title I thought cool - I wonder what these could possibly be? I probably should have stopped and taken a moment to see if I could think of anything high-tech on the Galactica...Where are you guys in the series?

Are you frakking kidding me?! Episode 3 entitled “The Oath” has been the best episode since at least Season 3 (my fiancé thinks Season 2). I was literally on the edge of my seat and shouted out a few times in excitement… and even got chills at one point.Were you able to successfully predict who the fifth and final cylon is? [Spoiler Alert!!]
Wow. Last night’s season opener really delivered for a number of reasons. Perhaps least of which was the big reveal of the fifth and final cylon model*.
