Donatella Versace Goes Charitable for Children

Natalia in Harper’s Bazaar UK by Paola Kudacki
Simply titled, “Natalia”, the cover shoot of Harper’s Bazaar UK September gives us a more intimate glimpse at its namesake, Natalia Vodianova. Paola Kudacki seems like the perfect photographer to capture the Russian model, considering that much of Kudacki’s portfolio celebrates beauty, style and grace–all things which Natalia seems to possess.

The divide between the US and Europe, in terms of fashion, is completely (and pitifully) obvious here: Harper's Bazaar UK chose wisely when they picked Natalia Vodianova, looking beautiful among wheat while the US Harper's features and actress. Cudos to them, of course, for picking Leighton Meester, as she and her TV alter-ego Blair Waldorf are both largely viewed as a style icons, but the bright, bold and somewhat obnoxious print on the cover definitely brings it down- she's glowing, but that doesn't mean everything else should be as well. At ELLE UK, they picked Lindsay Lohan, who might be on the verge of making a comeback.

I read in either Elle or Harper's Bazaar that fishnets are officially out of style. I beg to differ. These fishnets aren't the pole dancer kind, but they're much smaller holes and therefore I think they're a little more refined.
