To make your lips appear fuller:
After you apply your lipstick, apply
a teeny dab of clear lipgloss OR
vaseline to the cupid's bow of your
upper lip & slightly under the line of your
lower lip. It works!

My mother had beautiful, flawless skin. Wherever she went, she was always admired for this feature. Although I wasn't lucky enough to inherit her skin, I did inherit her beuty secrets. One product that she used in her regular beauty routine was good old witch hazel.

I get a lot of questions about how I keep my locks healthy and shiny.
Easy.
And cheap.
Once a week and sometimes more (If I have more than one day off from work):
I put a dab of extra virgin olive oil in the palm of my hands, gently rub palms together and scrunch into hair (middle of hair shaft down to the ends) and comb through with a wide tooth comb. Just let the natural oil soak into your hair for the day or do this at night, wrap ends of hair and sleep away.

Darn these new flight regulations. I found this article to be quite helpful given I will be meeting my boyfriend halfway in Japan in a month a half (hence the week 1 theme: "15 hour flight" I posted 2 weeks ago^^). Gotta look good for my man when I step off the plane!

You know those mornings when you
hit the snooze 5 times and are running
late, hardly time to brush your teeth,
let alone time to wash and style your hair. Here
are a couple of tips to freshen, at least your hair,
for the day. (DO take the time ot brush your teeth).
Powder Your Roots
So your hairline does not look greasy: Dig up a big, fluffy makeup brush, or a big cottonball and dip it into a
pot of after shower powder/body talc. Tap it once on the back of your hand to remove the excess, then dust
it over your roots. It mops up oil and blends into your strands, so no one will know you didn't shower.
Scent Strands with Perfume
Spray a light shot of fragrance into the bristles and run it through strands from roots
to ends and your hair will smell amazing throughout the day.

Don't spend $$$$ on
expensive exfoliators.
Just use 1 tbsp baking
soda with a few drops of
water (enough to make a paste)
and apply in a soft circular motion
over face and rinse with lukewarm
water. Pat dry your face with a clean
cloth. Brighter, fresher skin. Queen
