Tutorial: Perfect Smokey Eye Step by Step
This tutorial is for a very dramatic smokey eye that is basically black. It is considered sultry, sexy, and some might refer to it as the “Victoria Secret Model” look.
You will need the following products: a matte black base (Blacktrack fluidline), a matte black powder eyeshadow (Carbon eyeshadow), a matte highlight that’s similar to your skintone (Performance eyeshadow), another matte highlight that’s similar to your skintone, but darker than the one before (Malt eyeshadow), a black eye kohl (Graphblack technakohl, Blacktrack fluidline) and [optionally] a shimmery silver or black eyeshadow if you want a shimmery look (Silver Ring eyeshadow). MAC is what I use, but any cosmetic line you use is fine - using similar colors.

The Tuesday night CW block made a particularly strong showing this week. Personally, I thought 90210 had one of its best episodes of the season — nice character development, a few teary moments, and some "oh no she didn't" disses. A makeup story to tell....
Ok, I have been meaning to post this story for over a week now, but have just been slammed at work! Anyway, one of my best friends and I went to shop the Nordy's half yearly sale - I had a $200 gift card from hubby for mother's day and a $75 gift card from Nordy's for doing a user review of their website for their corporate marketing department. So, we had an amazing time shopping, (I got a great new outfit for a wedding I am going to in Dallas over the July 4 weekend!) and, as usual, we stop in the cosmetics department.
