Really feeling like an "Old Maid"
My cousin is getting married in two weeks and asked me to be her "maid of honor" which I must admit I was not really all that happy about. (but I didn't show it!) She doesn't really have any other friends besides three girls she just recently met in nursing school. A friend of mine just started working out with me regularly 3-4 times a week (hooray, a fitness buddy!), and I'd love to bring her gradually into yoga, since it's one of my favorite ways to tone and relax. She's never taken a class, and I am by no means an instructor, but if anyone can suggest a great beginner's dvd, it would be really helpful. Paltrow was on the Late Show with David Letterman last night and I have to give her credit for giving a fun interview that was interesting and light. I tend to vilify the woman for comments she made years ago disparaging Americans, but she came across as down to earth, friendly and kind. She told a self-deprecating story without it being an act, and you can also tell she genuinely loves her kids.Top 10 Movies about Shoes!
From “I love those…” to “I wouldn’t want to be in their…” shoes have undoubtedly held a special place in Hollywood history. Come to think of it, shoes in general have a general oversight that goes unmatched by any other article of clothing or accessory. Civilized people, mostly of the female population, will spend hours on end shopping the malls to find the perfect pair, and usually can’t pick just one.
