I really expected to be less than thrilled by this novel and even contemplated skipping it altogether. After all, I'm not the biggest Scott/Crowe fan (I hated Gladiator, yup I said it and I feel better), and I'm not in the least bit excited for the movie so why bother with a book about the CIA and foreign operations and other political conspiracies that I have no room for in my brain this election year? But I picked it up anyway, just to read a few chapters and see if I could stick with it and it turned out that I could.

ROME (Reuters) - An art collector has found a tooth, thumb and finger of the renowned Italian scientist Galileo Galilei who died in the 17th century, Florence's History of Science museum announced on Friday.
The body parts, along with another finger and a vertebrae, were cut from Galileo's corpse by scientists and historians during a burial ceremony held 95 years after his death in 1642.
Giovanni Targioni Tozzetti, a science historian who cut away the parts and wrote about the ceremony, "confessed he had found it hard to resist the temptation to take away the skull which had housed such extraordinary genius," the museum said.

If you have any scrap jewelry lying around, you should consider selling it to one of the many gold buyers out there. There are a number of companies that do nothing but purchase unwanted or damaged jewelry from people all over. The price of gold has skyrocketed to over one thousand Canadian dollars over the past couple years!
