The People`s Choice Awards are getting ready to throw a vampire party of their own.In a surprise to no one, least of all millions of screaming fanggirls, Twilight leads the list of honorees for the 36th Annual PCAs, scoring six nominations, including Favorite Movie (a shoo-in if ever there was one) as well as individual nods for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.Together, the trio is up for Favorite On-Screen Team, while Pattinson and Stewart also earned nods for Favorite Movie Actor and Actress, respectively.Meanwhile, Anna Paquin`s more mature vampfest True Blood is up for three nominations, including Favorite TV Obsession and Favorite TV Drama Actress for Paquin herself. Rounding out the bloodsucking trifecta, The Vampire Diaries also scored two nods, one of which—Favorite TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy—pits it against the HBO show. Get ready for a bloodbath. As for other nominees, as no awards show is complete without her, Taylor Swift also scored three nominations, including Favorite Female Artist, while Miley Cyrus earned two.Rounding out the boldfaced names up for awards are perennial faves Hugh Laurie, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Blake Lively, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Beyoncé, Susan Boyle, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Matthew Fox and E!`s own Chelsea Handler, whose Chelsea Lately laughfest scored a nomination for Favorite TV Talk Show.

I saw this movie back in November last year, before it won all the awards and was surrounded by tons of hype.
When a Mumbai teen (Dev Patel) is arrested on suspicion of cheating on the game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire, he retells his past to show how he knows the answer to each and every question. Raised on the streets with his brother (Madhur Mittal), he tells of unfinished business between his brother and a long lost love (Freida Pinto).

PUBLIC POST *
I am a complete sucker for stories of people rising above their circumstances and doing exceptional things.
I don't follow any of the television talent show competitions like American Idol, but ran across a link to this performance from "Britain's So Talented".
Susan Boyle is 47, single (I believe she said never married), unemployed and has a cat.

Whether it's the story of Lance Armstrong, a team down by 3 games in the play offs and comes back to win, Susan Boyle, or Mr. President himself we all love the story of an underdog. That unnoticed, forgotten or maybe taken for granted individual(s) that rises above our expectations or those who suffer serious set back only to come back and slap us up side the head with the human spirit to say hey I'm still in the game. The stories that make us re-think the boundaries of expectation we place on our selves and inspire us to be just a little braver and a little greater than we thought we could be.

Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I was completely shocked at the tribal council on Thursday! I was SURE Coach was going home.

Slumdog Millionaire on-screen lovers Dev Patel (in Burberry) and Frieda Pinto (in Roberto Cavalli) pose with their eight Oscar statues on the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Here’s how they got started in the biz: Dev, now 18, was recommended by Danny Boyle’s daughter who saw him on the naughty British drama Skins. Freida was a 24-year-old model and TV host who had never scored an acting role before Slumdog.
