BADGELY MISCHKA could be feeling the pre-show pressure. An employee was overheard saying that she'd heard the two having "a massive fight. They're breaking apart into two separate companies!" A rep denied the story, saying that the two designers were both very happy together now.

Hollywood favorite and fashion editor designer BRIAN REYES gave elle.com an inside look at his upcoming fall show. The idea behind the collection was one of "Feminine silhouettes and clean lines inspired by the patterns and natural beauty of marble quarries.":

Young American designer JASON WU, post-inaugural ceremonies, said he considered doing a "significant fur collection" for fall 2009, but reconsidered. His agreement with Saga furs would have allowed him to do a full collection of furs, but he opted out of it after Michelle Obama's most likely tendency to stay away from fur pieces, since PETA would most definitely attack the first lady.
