I've always been kind of dubious about that, but clearly... it does actually work.
I did a purple eye look from the Bobbi Brights palette and was pleasantly surprised when my eyes looked much greener in the pictures I took - they're kind of murkily hazel in real life, but photos almost always make them look browner and flatter than they really are.

I've gotta run - friend in crisis in need of Thai food and retail therapy - but I've got pics and swatches up at my onsugar page.

I was watching extra and there was a little thing where they said it takes four products to brighten up your face.
1) Liquid moisturizer (with color like tan)
2) Blush (on the apples of your cheeks)
3) eyebrow stuff( like a brush that applies color to ur eyebrows)
4) mascara (with a big brush)
Result :
OKAY
I dont really think so because white eyeshadow can really brighten ur eyes so this beauty product is OKAY
My way
1) liquid foundation
2) white eyeshadow (closer to ur eyelashes)
3) darker color on top (like a dark pink, blue or w/e eyeshadow darker color)

So I got these in the mail awhile ago, and i've been so in love with them!!!! My favorite one so far is Pink Cadillac, it's kind of a bright iridescent pink ( but the color is surprisingly sheer with a light application)

pink flamingo
I like my makeup colors bright, so this works for me. These are only $6 each and they are 100% mineral, the texture is so unbelievably soft!

"My inspiration in one word was prestige," explains Kardashian's makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic of the look he gave her for a recent MTV appearance. "I was inspired by the attention-grabbing texture and color of the bright blue top Kim had on when I saw her."
How to Do It
1: Use Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup in 050 all over the skin, followed by a touch of Nars pressed powder and Diorskin Sculpt Concealer in 003 under the eyes.

I'm giving you all the information about achieving this fun, spring look right now.

I finally got around to organizing and cleaning out all of my makeup, so I decided to take some pictures and share them with you guys. I apologize in advance for the poor picture quality, I didn't have the best lighting.
I just bought the green glass that holds my brushes today at Anthropologie.

I posted on here a few weeks ago about my first foray into MAC. Because of my success with that trip (and subsequent self-application of makeup) one of my friends wanted to check it out. We've been trying to plan the trip for several weeks now, and we finally managed to make it yesterday.
