Here’s a great new Rob interview from the Sydney Morning Herald, this interview was most likely done in Cannes:Ask Robert Pattinson how he’s handling the global hysteria that now surrounds him and he says: “All right, I hope.” Then he runs his hand through that tousled mop of his (a sign that he’s anxious) and adds: “It’s still sort of new.”It’s almost 12 months since the first Twilight film was unleashed on the world. Twelve months since we clapped eyes on the sensitive, tortured and fiercely handsome vampire named Edward Cullen from Stephenie Meyer’s massively popular novels. Twelve months since Pattinson, the 23-year-old British actor who plays the red-blooded teenage vamp, became an international heart-throb.One minute he has a bit part in two Harry Potter films (he played Cedric Diggory in The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix).

It would seem that for decades the mainstream American male hetero-sexual has been molded by cultural perception and paranoia to restrict and confine his male to male affection. Groomed for machismo and a stiff upper lip. Unlike hetero-sexual females who have cultural license to hug, kiss (peck on the cheek), dance, cuddle, say I love you etc.

HE’S HOT, HE’S SEXY, HE’S UNDEAD
Two years ago, Robert Pattinson was a forgotten extra in a ‘Harry Potter’ movie. Then he got cast as a blue-balled vampire in ‘Twilight,’ the year’s kazillion-dollar movie franchise, and every woman in America over 14 wants him. Too bad he’s not sure he wants them
It’s December; Twilight, in which Pattinson, 22, plays an adorably tortured perma-teenage vampire too principled to drink human blood, has been in theaters for about a month.

George Clooney was on “The Today Show” this morning and Meredith Viera said she was going to ask him about his relationship and sounded all serious about it. She then showed photos of him with Brad Pitt and said “I call that a bromance.” Clooney admitted Pitt was “very handsome.” Viera asked “do you have a bromance?” and Clooney didn’t give a direct answer and said that there is a story that he’s going to be godfather to Brad’s children, and that it’s not true but “I do enjoy hearing it.”
Then Clooney told the story about how he fooled the paparazzi after it was rumored that Brad and Angelina were getting married at his Lake Como estate.
“Two years ago there was a story that he was going to get married at my house.

There have been endless rumors of Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick from 'Gossip Girl' hooking up. There have been blind items in the NY Post and NY Daily News about the roommates being more than just friends, but both camps have denied the rumors.
Chace and Ed added more fuel to the fire when they showed up at a recent show by Brit popsters The Ting Tings.

Tropic Thunder director and star Ben Stiller has opened up about pal Owen Wilson's suicide attempt last August.
"It's impossible to understand that kind of pain – depression or anything like that – until you're in it," Stiller tells Playboy in the August issue of the magazine.
"I love Owen," he says of his Royal Tenenbaums co-star.
