Big Brother’s Adam under fire for on-air autism slur
The U.S. version of the reality show “Big Brother” is under fire today after one of the show’s contestants, Adam Jasinski, referred to people with autism as ‘retards’ during a nationally aired episode Tuesday night. On the show, a contestant named Adam, who said he works for an autism foundation, said he would spend his winnings on a hair salon for people with developmental disabilities “so retards can get it together and get their hair done.” The Web site for the show describes him as a 29-year-old public relations manager from Del Ray Beach, Fla.Electricityscape
I borrowed a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT from my photography class last year and took a bunch of long exposure picture of Christmas lights while my brother was driving me around town. This is a one second exposure.
Sugarbabies: Kicking Off Thanksgiving Sugarbabies!
This picture was taken as my daughter enjoyed her first true Thanksgiving meal. She picked at the turkey but gobbled up the sweet potatoes, cranberries and the delicious stuffing. Though her brother was only days old, she gave thanks for being a big sister.

My father is unbearable and I can't get away
This year has been rough for my family. My parents decided to up and leave their California home to move across the country--after quitting their jobs and realizing their new home was not for them they moved back only to lose money, a house, and are jobless in this economy. Myself included in this brought me to live with them again as I was away at school until budget cuts ceased my opportunity to stay there.It's Thursday...and that can only mean one thing...Big Brother!!!
