Today I realized that I always mention my favorite cereals on Fit's blogs (when talking about healthy brands etc...) however I never shared them in a blog. I wanted to post this in case you haven't tried these or wanted to know the nutrional facts behind them. I always keep these three cerals in stock.

I saw a commercial for this tonight, went online, and signed up for my free sample. The only "hitch" (minor) is that you have to sign up for their "eat better america" e-mail newsletter. I'll get my little sample and then unsubscribe.

This question comes from the group The Children's Table from member chab.
Does anyone out there know of a sugar free "O" cereal? I used to get Cascadian Farms "O" cereal because it was organic and sugar free, but it seems like they changed their product as it now has sugar.

Does anyone out there know of a sugar free "O" cereal? I used to get Cascadian Farms "O" cereal because it was organic and sugar free, but it seems like they changed their product as it now has sugar. I compared old and new and they are definitely different looking, too, in addition to having different ingrdients. Any recommendations out there?

I am a very big oatmeal fan. I think hot cereal is a great breakfast; it provides complex carbs and fiber while being delightfully warm and delicious. But after having oatmeal so much, I decided to investigate new grain cereals to have for breakfast to add some variety.

Ingredients:
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup karo light corn syrup
-1 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
-6 cups Special K Cereal
-6 oz. chocolate chips
-6 oz. butterscotch chips
-1 tblspn peanut butter
*Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil
*Add crunchy peanut butter
(do not let this mixture boil too hard, as it will make the brownies to hard)

*Melt the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter together
*Spread over the Special K mixture
Let cool to set
