The actor's romantic exploits last hit the headlines in May when he was marked enjoying a dinner date with reality TV star Audrina. Pine reportedly neglected just weeks later after purportedly tiring of all the media attention.

In the based-on-a-true story Sundance movie Bottle Shock, Chris Pine stars opposite Bill Pullman as one half of a California wine-making duo whose ''perfect'' Chardonnay impressed the merde out of the French at a 1976 blind tasting. The day after the film's premiere, we cornered young Mr. Pine in the EW photo lounge to chat about his first Sundance experience, as well as some other movie he's in whose title rhymes with ''Far Schmeck.''

The People`s Choice Awards are getting ready to throw a vampire party of their own.In a surprise to no one, least of all millions of screaming fanggirls, Twilight leads the list of honorees for the 36th Annual PCAs, scoring six nominations, including Favorite Movie (a shoo-in if ever there was one) as well as individual nods for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.Together, the trio is up for Favorite On-Screen Team, while Pattinson and Stewart also earned nods for Favorite Movie Actor and Actress, respectively.Meanwhile, Anna Paquin`s more mature vampfest True Blood is up for three nominations, including Favorite TV Obsession and Favorite TV Drama Actress for Paquin herself. Rounding out the bloodsucking trifecta, The Vampire Diaries also scored two nods, one of which—Favorite TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy—pits it against the HBO show. Get ready for a bloodbath.As for other nominees, as no awards show is complete without her, Taylor Swift also scored three nominations, including Favorite Female Artist, while Miley Cyrus earned two.Rounding out the boldfaced names up for awards are perennial faves Hugh Laurie, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Blake Lively, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Beyoncé, Susan Boyle, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Matthew Fox and E!`s own Chelsea Handler, whose Chelsea Lately laughfest scored a nomination for Favorite TV Talk Show.

J.J. Abrams brought out the entire cast for his upcoming Star Trek film for the premiere of Cloverfield held at the Paramount Studios Lot on Wednesday in Los Angeles. (Abrams produced Cloverfield and directed Star Trek.)
Among the young Enterprise crewmembers there: Chris Pine (Kirk), Zoe Saldana (Uhura), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Karl Urban (McCoy), John Cho (Sulu) and Anton Yelchin (Chekov).

The original Capt. Kirk is disheartened he won't get to boldly go anywhere with his old pal Spock in the new "Star Trek" movie. While Leonard Nimoy is reprising his role as the pointy-eared Vulcan in next year's science-fiction flick, William Shatner is not on board as Kirk.
