This is a rant and a question. I am 23, I have a steady job, and I am good with my money. Regardless of all of that, I absolutely cannot get a credit card!

So i got in the mail today a letter from my credit card company telling me that they were lowering my credit limit. I don't use this card much, don't carry a balance on it and definitely don't need a $14,000 limit but am just wondering does it affect my credit score or anything?

So you are in debt over your head and you can not afford to make the minimum monthly payments towards your credit cards, vehicle payments, regular bills, etc. So, an option would be to get help from Credit Counselors that tell you they will be able to help you out by:
1. Giving you the money (loan) if you are approved to pay off your debt then you have to pay them back monthly.

When my credit card reached its expiration date I did not receive a new card in the mail. I had to ask for two more to be sent before I finally got a plastic card. My roommate had thrown away two cards-so two accounts were closed due to lost/stolen card.

Here's a word to the wise: Think twice before whipping out that credit card to pay for purchases at the Salvation Army or a discount store, have tires re-treaded or even buy a late-night round of drinks.
