The Real Housewives of Atlanta tell all—including what they think of the allegations they’re not “real Atlanta society”
From comments spurred by my past posts (one, detailing the bios of the Atlanta Housewives, here; and another, detailing why I think the Atlanta version will be absolutely enthralling to watch, here), it seems that there are people here in “The City Too Busy to Hate” with plenty of time to hate, especially when it comes to whether or not these women represent Atlanta (generally) and its moneyed society (specifically). So when I interviewed the Housewives last week, I gave them a chance to offer a rebuttal, along with a lot of juicy information about what we’ll be seeing this seven-episode season, from the brouhaha over Big Papa’s real identity to which housewife is going to be the “bitch” of the show.
The women—Nene Leakes, Lisa Wu Hartwell, Kim Zociak, Sheree Whitfield, and DeShawn Snow (all at right)—were interviewed separately, but I asked many of them similar questions.

Buzz posted a few links to this stuff but I figured I'd highlight it here.
First of all, here is a Strike Chart to tell us how many episodes of our favorite shows are left to air:
30 Rock: Ten episodes will be produced. Five episodes have aired, so there are five left.

A friend on my mom's board just shared this. I thought I'd share it here too so you can see what's going on with your favorite show.
Desperate Housewives shut down.

I finally caught the premiere episode of the Real Housewives of New York City and I was not disappointed. Those of us who watch the Real Housewives series, know that these shows are only as good as the drama the ladies and the husbands at times bring to the show. How can we forget drama on the Real Housewives of Atlanta and at times there were flare-ups between the OC women.

The petition:
To: ABC
To the producers of "Desperate Housewives" and ABC:
We are writing to express concern and hurt about a racially-discriminatory comment made in an episode of Desperate Housewives on 9/30/07. In a scene in which Susan was told by her gynecologist that she might be hitting menopause, she replied, "Can I just check those diplomas because I just want to make sure that they are not from some med school in the Philippines?"
As members and allies of the Filipino American community, we are writing to inform know that this type of derogatory remark was discriminatory and hurtful, and such a comment was not necessary to maintain any humor in the show.

Not one to normally watch "Desperate Housewives" I managed to catch an episode. This statement, "A man is only as sick as his secrets" was in this episode. It did not take me long to realize that this show is mostly about hiding one's secrets and what happens to these women that attempt to hide things.

Still in shock from the surprise arrival of their half-brother, Sean (guest star Josh Henderson, "Desperate Housewives"), Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) put their arguing aside long enough to process the news. Harry (Rob Estes) and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) also deal with Sean's arrival by welcoming him into their home. Kelly (guest star Jennie Garth) offers Naomi and Annie advice about not letting Ethan (Dustin Milligan) get in the way of their friendship, while the gap between Brenda (guest star Shannen Doherty) Kelly widens.
