Ever since the Bernie Madoff scandal, the similarities to the Ponzi schemer's family and that of the dysfunctional Bluth's on Arrested Development have grown exponentially. Maybe Bernie Madoff is just a viral marketing scheme for the A.D. movie that may or may not be in production?

TV shows turned movies are the fad right now, and following in the footsteps of Sex and the City and Friends is Arrested Development.
Die hards of the sitcom will no longer have to sit around watching reruns of the Bluth family, because Jason Bateman thinks they'll most likely be hitting the big screen.
Ever since the show got cancelled there have been talks of a movie, but Jason said it was all about the timing.

This just might be the best news we Arrested fans have heard in a very long time.
Jason Bateman has just confirmed to me that the creative minds behind Arrested Development (Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard) have put the wheels in motion toward a major motion picture of the Fox TV comedy so many of us adore. I'm told by insiders that Jason and other Bluth family members have received calls from producers (Hurwitz and Howard) asking if they would be willing to shoot a movie.
