A very attractive lady goes up to a bar in a quiet,
rural pub. She gestures alluringly to the bartender
who comes over immediately. When he arrives, she
seductively signals that he should bring his face
closer to hers.

To explain what happens to love between two people, we need to begin by understanding what happens to self-love, or self-esteem. Since you are the primary ingredient—and the common denominator—in all of your relationships, you will see the definite correlation between the strength of your self-esteem and the health of your relationships. Understanding the dynamics of self-esteem, what happens to it as we grow up, and how to put it back on the right path will not only help you feel better about yourself, which will certainly contribute to your relationships, but will also assist you in enhancing the self-esteem of the people you love the most.

My bf is a pretty big nerd. He likes computer games and plays X-box/live a lot. On the other hand I HATE video games in general (so I might be unfairly biased).

CAMP VICTORY, Iraq — It was Sunday night in Baghdad, and President Obama was ordering Gen. Ray Odierno, the commander of the American troops here, to shave Stephen Colbert’s head. (Not to give everything away, but the general is not as brutal with an electric razor as one would expect a bald man to be; Mr. Colbert’s hairdresser, on the other hand, has a merciless streak.)
War, as things go, is a fairly unironic exercise.

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
— Saul Alinsky
OK, I get it. It’s a very funny joke. “Tea party” and “teabagging” both have the word “tea” in them — a witticism worthy of Oscar Wilde.

My boyfriend (of a year) and I have a great relationship most of the time. We agree on virtually everything... except Public Displays of Affection.

This came up with the boyfriend last year and it was never really resolved. It came up again the other day. I'm educated, open-minded, don't get too easily offended and have been known to laugh at a tasteless (ie, Helen Keller) joke, which I'm sure might not make me too popular here.
