The Live Earth India concert has officially been called off due to the attacks in Mumbai last week. The gunmen opened fire in hotels, a train station, and around the city, killing over 170 people. Here, in Vancouver, the Epic Sustainable Living Expo , just one of many "green festivals" in this city at this time of year, was held this weekend. Even though "green" events are not often widely publicized, it does seem like a lot is going on around the city, country, and world in celebration of Earth Day (or Earth Month, really) and to celebrate Spring generally.

well april 22nd 2009 is earth day. when everyone is supposed to do something for our planet , i remember when you would get a tree sapling from mcdonalds on earth day but that stopped i think when i was 13 or so ...some time ago ill just say. i usually do something like plant a tree or pick up trash, so i was wondering what will you for our planet this year?
