Actions often speak louder than words but these sweet things to say to your boyfriend can overshadow quite a few actions.
1) You make me feel like a better person. This lets him know that he helps you and that you need him in order to feel you are at your best.

What is abstinence?
Abstinence is not having sex. A person who decides to practice abstinence has decided not to have sex.

After seeing BabySugar's ghostly cupcakes, I wanted to bake something Halloweenish for my wee ones. I was thrilled when I found these simple and adorable marshmallow skulls – a perfect decoration for a Halloween baked good. With only a bag of marshmallows, color sprinkles and a knife, I turned a regular marshmallow into a spooky skull.

Breakfast sandwiches are popular with rushing mothers and their kiddos on the go! From egg filled bagels to bacon and cheese caught between an English muffin they fill the tummy up right. My son favors waffles sandwiches.

We had all had those holidays which stand out in our memories. It may be a fabulous memory which makes us all warm and fuzzy inside, to be compared to every future memory and be measured by it. We all have those holiday memories we'd like to forget---like the year both my Mom and my Aunt felt they had to be the one cooking the turkey and my Mom's turkey imploded. (Seriously...it became a heap of bones and the meat sort of disintegrated)
As children we had ideas about sugar plums just as much as we anticipated the tooth fairy...probably more. Later in life as we married and somehow combined families, and our family traditions changed. We created new memories together. We have had that gift we thought was going to rock someone's world which turned out to be as exciting as a flat tire.
There are those of us that prayed, pleaded, and made deals with God (or whoever else was listening) to just this one time....get that one thing or to be able to give that one great thing which would change our relationship with someone.
Of course there are also those times when we all thought "What the heck was this person thinking" when we opened a gift which astounded us. An example of this was someone close to me, her mother-in-law gave her a retractable clothesline one year, a sink hair strainer the next, and it just went even further down hill after that. (I am not kidding) And yes, we try to remember holiday seasons are about giving, not receiving....but still "What the heck!"

Wow, so I just found this website, and it seems like a fantastic idea! So glad to be here!
So, here's my dilemma, and it's a classic one, so I appologize if I'm posting something that gets asked too often. My husband and I have two small children. My husband works and I stay home to raise the kids. It's rewarding, but by no means "fun" or easy! My husband has a challenging job, but is very good at what he does and has become quite successful at his company. He is brilliant, creative, and works very hard to get projects completed quickly and with innovative ideas. I really can not put into words how proud I am of him, and tell him that (maybe too much.) He comes from a family in which both of his parents worked full time, and had hired help around the house most of the time. His mother "does not cook" so they always ate out, and they had a maid, nannies, etc. I guess what I'm tying to say is that he grew up without ever seeing the challenges of a stay-at-home mom in a one-income family.
When I became pregnant with our older child, it was a big surprise to us, as we were very young (both 23) and not at all prepared (mentally, financially, etc) to become parents. We decided together that it would be best for me to stay at home with our child(ren) until they were in school. My job would be to take care of the kids during the day, keep everyone fed, and keep the house up. Sounds easy, right??? Again, I really was not prepared for this, and adjusting to motherhood has been challenging for me. Although I would never let our home become dirty, there is rarely a day when it is not messy in some rooms, and although I really ty to stay on top of cooking 3 meals a day, it is REALLY a LOT of work!!! I probably dont end up getting to making dinner more than 3 or 4 times a week. I don't do the TV babysitter thing, so entertaining my children in an educational way every day really becomes tedious after a while. I try to not complain to my husband because as tiring as it is and as boring as it can be, this is my choice, and I can change it at any time. I even ty to thank him every so often for working hard and affording us the opportunity to have me be at home.

With the popularity of locally grown vegetables soaring, a new Web site hopes to make it easier for chefs to find farmers in their area — and have produce delivered to their restaurants. The idea behind FarmsReach.com is to provide one-stop-shopping for fresh produce from many farms at once.
FarmsReach launched in San Francisco's Bay Area last spring; its owners plan to expand to seven other regions around the country.
