Steamed Fish With Scallions And Ginger
This steamed dish, one that Lo calls her "comfort food," has rich Asian flavors. Since it's simple to prepare, it's the perfect piece of fish to serve at your next dinner party. Serves 8 Ingredients: 2 whole fish (about 2 lb each, such as black sea bass or wild salmon), scaled, gutted and scored 1/2 cup sliced scallions (green part only) 2 tbsp fresh julienned ginger 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup peanut oil 1 tsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp sugar Directions: Position oven racks in upper and lower thirds of oven.Steamed Fish With Scallions And Ginger

The year has just started and Its been a while since I have posted a Dinner For Two recipe here in the group. Don't worry, I didn't forget about you guys.
Feed the fishies (or someone else's) and protect your kabukis!!!
So I wanted a stronger version of the plastic cases that my MAC kabukis (182 and 183) came in that would be cheap and clear in order for me to admire them. It was actually a tall order to fill and I was prepared to take a trip to an art store or make one, until I walked down the pet aisle. Voile, fish food containers!!!
Dungeness Crab with Noodles
I saw an episode of Bittemen on the food channel and he was at my favorite bay area restaurant, Fish. I recognized one of the cooks since they have an open kitchen. The next time I was there, I yelled out that he came off great on TV.
Weird Fish is Tasty
Went to Weird Fish in the Mission with Jimmy.
I had the tacos, he had the fish & chips. We both received complimentary edamame.
