You don't need to belong to a gym to get strong; you just need the time to fit in a little strength training. I created a circuit workout that takes about 20 minutes, fits in your living room, and requires no special props.
Not only is this at-home workout excuse-proof, it is recession-proof and affordable — the only form of payment accepted is sweat!

I never know what to eat exactly after a workout... I tend to just let my stomach growl and then eat a ton later on. Not a good idea, folks!

I created a full-body circuit workout that takes about 20 minutes, fits in your living room, and only requires a set of dumbbells. If you don't have hand weights, this workout will still strengthen and tone you all over.

Ok, so I really want to get in a post before I run out of time before I leave tomorrow before dawn for my trip to SLC for my friend's wedding. I am very proud to report that I have exercised as I planned for two weeks, every day (I will double check later to make sure that's true) since my boyfriend's visit! Who hoo!

This is easier for me to remember, I didn't do much Mon and Tues besides run around like a maniac, which kind of counts, right? Since those two days were a bust, I really decided to go for it and drove out to the gym to get in a good workout yesterday after work, and I did a lot of different stuff I wanted to remember, so I'm doing a one-day log:
Wed - for cardio did 20m on the stepmill at level 10. Really got the heart rate up.

Most certainly not a typical week, shocker, I know. Why is summer so crazy? You look forward to it all summer, but then there's so much going on that it all rushes by so quick?

Well my log is not going to start out very good but trust me, I am working to redeem myself this weekend, I promise!
Thurs - usually I go to bellydancing, but class was cancelled, instead I went to a local fair with my parents and had a bit of fair food and people watched
Fri - so not proud of Friday night, got home from work and went straight to bed...I was in a total funk, watched two movies in bed, ATE in bed minus a quick walk to the store for snacks (at least I got two healthy snacks), not a good night for fitness at all...
Sat - woke up in the morning and decided I had enough of being a piece of crap - not working out and eating poorly is not a way to feel better about anything.

I have been on hold with the airline for half an hour, it's 334AM EST and so I thought i would quickly blog my workout before I forgot. I took yesterday off but on Tuesday I did a great ondemand cardio/sculpt video that was about 40 min and I feel the burn from it so I will rememember that workout for next time!
Headed to Denver for the week and will do lots of running with the bf.

Journaling these down two at a time seems to be working pretty well. If I wait any longer I have a hard time remembering what I did since my workouts have been so varying recently!
Sunday - my original plan was long cardio and lifting.
