And a flower from hobby lobby hot glued onto a bobby pin ;

Lolita culture
In Japan it is mass-marketed and has wide visibility particularly in the streets of Tokyo and Osaka, on television, in manga (see Paradise Kiss by Ai Yazawa for an example of gothloli inspired manga) and computer games. Outside of Japan it is still a fringe fashion although it has slowly begun to spread to other countries. Gothic Lolita, along with cosplay and other Japanese cultural phenomena, can sometimes be seen at concerts and anime conventions throughout Europe and the United States.

As much as I enjoyed creating an outfit from the Movie I really wanted to share pictures of the outfits in the soon to be seen Sex & The City Movie.
Heres what I found:
1)For those of you who want Sex and the City: The Movie to be fresh and new, look away (until May 30th, 2008, when the film is released). For those who cannot resist a look at what the fabulous foursome will be wearing around Manhattan, carry on
2)In this scene, we see another busy and juxtaposing look for Ms.

I am sick of seeing the strapless, princess ball gown wedding gowns. Boring!! I like the sweetheart neckline on this dress, with the halter straps and the eyelet-ish fabric.

This was a skirt that I got in Venice Beach. I hiked it up to make it a dress and cinched it with a belt. And the wreath of flowers in my hair, I made that yesterday!

LOS ANGELES
COLIBRI EVANS navigated the aisles of Forever 21 at the Beverly Center last week with a sure step and a shrewd eye. Her mother, Sasha Evans, was more circumspect, offering for Colibri’s approval a string of neo-hippie beads Joss Stone might have coveted.
“It’s her job to say ‘Yes, No, Yes, No,’ ” Mrs. Evans said, nodding toward her daughter, a 29-year-old music producer.

This is how I always picture Parisian woman shopping - totally fabulous and put together, and ready to cook a delicious (yet somehow never makes them fat) meal.
Reversible Halter Dress, $208 at Shopintuition.com
I LOVE this dress - I would wear it either way, but I picked accessories to go with the black version.
Cropped Cardigan, $17.80 at Forever21
A little cardigan in case it gets chilly in the market...
