Sure, she's an actress and he's a World Series champ, but the couple made sweet music together backstage at the American Music Awards Sunday night. After the pair palled around with Fergie in the chilly outdoor backstage area at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, "A-Rod gave Kate a big squeeze to keep her warm," says a source, "and a sweet smooch." Hudson was, "beaming, glowing actually," adds the source.

CARROLL, Iowa – Police had no trouble identifying two men accused of trying to break into a Carroll apartment. Police were responding to a call about an attempted burglary when they pulled over a car matching the alleged suspects' vehicle.
