There will be a Fashion Show on the third new episode of Gossip Girl, and it will be awesome.
How do we know?

From beginning to end, "You’ve got Yale" was not only a gripping and dramatic episode of Gossip Girl - but absolutely stylish, if not iconic!
Blair Waldorf and her evil minions were nothing short of stunning - and this is right in the beginning of the episode! Blair looked determined in her Milly Fitted Check Coat ($294), YSL Preppy Pumps (slingback version $576).

Serena van der Woodsen is a glamorous, connected rich girl in Manhattan who doesn’t follow the hippest fashion trends: she sets them.
But how does Serena’s style compare to that of the beautiful actress who plays her, Blake Lively? Last week, we profiled Leighton Meester and her on-screen alter ego, Blair Waldorf.

She looks good in anything (and presumably nothing), but we’ve taken a look at some of Leighton Meester’s differing, but terrific recent clothing choices in a Gossip Girl fashion breakdown.
Trading in her sweet dresses for a pair of trendy 7 for flared jeans and pale pink top, the Gossip Girl star looked California cool at a Remember the Daze event earlier this month in Beverly Hills (left).
But she can do luxurious too.

Beneath Blair's coat it is possible to see a Moschino Cheap and Chic Tiered Skirt ($132), which is accessorized with a Robert Clergie Titan Bag and a pair of Robert Clergie Fillesat Shoes (about $200).
Back at school, Blair is greeted by a still envious (and very yellow in her future actions) Nelly Yuki in a French Connection Kinickie Buckle Coat ($149) and Penelope in an Alice + Olivia Purple Bubble Coat ($319).
Also in school, we see Serena van der Woodsen, in a very comfortable and laid-back combination of a James Perse blouse and sweater, and with a to-die-for Nuti New Yorker Ostrich Hobo ($3,400).

Blair Waldorf was absolutely flawless this episode, especially in the Mily Women's Bow Tie Silk Blouse ($162) and a Marc Jacobs wool melange skirt ($465), which brought an amazing spring flavor to the show.
Another excellent outfit of Blair's was comprised of Diane von Furstenberg Women's "Bette" Glitter Plaid Jacket ($475), Diane von Furstenberg Women's Adame Glitter Plaid Pencil Skirt ($275, ) and an "Eleanor Waldorf Designs" a.k.a. Lorick Black Telli Cape ($286).
